Autoradio ready to go back

“The only thing one should do is to flick these two switchers on and those ones too. Wait a minute – and Autoradio will be on air,” Yury Bazan, Autoradio Director, told Belsat TV reporters.
Two years ago the iconic radio station was deprived of the opportunity to broadcast. “Any person who loves their work has a good grip of such a situation. It might be even harder than… being imprisoned,” Mr Bazan stresses.
Minsk radio station Autoradio stopped broadcasting on January 2, 2011 at 12:40. The main reason for its closure lies in playing of ex-presidential candidate Andrey Sannikau’s campaign materials before the 2010 elections.
At the moment a state-controlled radio station operated on the RF Autoradio used to work at. But the new station is definitely no match for its predecessor.
