Civic activist Antos Zhylko was detained by police on January 12 in Minsk.
“The activist managed to inform his friends of masked security officers’ coming to his place. At that moment, Natallya Pukhava was in the apartment with him. According to Antos, she was also being taken away,” human rights activists said on Telegram.
There is also information about the detention of human rights activist Aleh Matskevich in Barysau. His flat was searched; all equipment was confiscated. It is still unknown where Matskevich is being held now.
Human rights defenders are trying to find out on what grounds the activists have been detained.
