Youth organisation Zmena holds unusual protest action

Toy picketing with the working title “How come?” has taken place in Minsk.

According to Zmena leader Paval Vinagradau, they decided to end the year with the same action which marked its beginning. For that purpose the activists made placards with misspelt slogans which, however, remained readable. Mr Vinahradau hopes that in case of administrative sanctions the mistakes will help prove the fact that the placards did not contain anti-government slogans.

Being interviewed by our journalists Paval Vinahradau seized the occasion and congratulated Belsat TV on its fifth anniversary: “Belsat is the sanest channel. I wish you good luck!”
