The jury has announced ten contenders for becoming the official representative of the Republic of Belarus at the Eurovision Song Contest, the press service of the National Television and Radio Company reports.
The list of finalists of national selection round Eurovision-2013 includes:
Max Lawrence (“I love your charming eyes”);
Aliona Lanskaya (“Rhythm in Love”);
Aliaksey Gross (“One Way Love”);
Daria (“Catch Me Again”);
Nuteki band (“Save me”);
Satsura (“Get out of my way”);
Яnkey (“Letter to Mother”);
Vitaly Varonka (“I wonder how you”);
Beaver Band (“Incredible Girl”)
It is to be recalled that N.R.M. presented Kuźniczka, a popular song of Polish hillfolk, at the casting session organised by the National State TV and Radio Company. Performed by N.R.M Kuźniczka appeared in film “We are free people” (“My wolni ludzie”) that depicts the story of the band’s trip to Beskidy (Poland) where hillfolk’s musical traditions are still alive.
The Belarusian representative’s name will become known after the final of the National Selection which is to be held on December 7, 2012. According to the regulations, the winner is estimated by the jury and viewers’ voting results.
The International Song Contest Eurovision-2013 is to be hosted by Malmő (Sweden) in May, 2013
