Case of political prisoner Artsyom Bayarski transferred to prosecutor's office


The case of Artsyom Bayarski was transferred to the prosecutor’s office, relatives of the political prisoner told belsat.eu.

Artsyom Bayarsky was charged with “creating or leading an extremist group” and “organizing and preparing actions that grossly violate public order.”

On October 8th, the parents of 19-year-old Artsyom were allowed to see their son, whom they saw for the first time in 7 months.

Artsyom Bayarski is a native of Hrodna, he graduated from school summa cum laude and entered the chemistry department of the BSU. Artsyom was detained for the first time on November 16th in Minsk after the March of the Elderly People. On March 24th, Artsyom was detained for the second time. At about 6.30 am, security officers, came to the BSU dormitory, put all the guys from the room on the floor, but took away only Artsyom. A white-red-white flag was allegedly noticed on the 11th floor. And on March 25th, a video appeared on the telegram channel of STV journalist Ryhor Azaronak, in which the student admitted that he was the administrator of the “extremist” telegram channel and chat “My Country Belarus”.
