Police detain Mozyr residents who wanted to destroy Russian military equipment


The Investigative Committee has reported on the detention of two residents of Mozyr, suspected of preparing to destroy the Russian military equipment in Belarus.

According to the investigators, two men aged 34 and 44 were planning to destroy the military equipment of the Russian Federation near Mozyr. For this purpose, they prepared bottles with an incendiary mixture.

They are also accused of other planned actions.

It is noted that the men met in 2020 at the protests in Mozyr. Both have families and are raising children. Now they are accused of preparing an act of terrorism.

Meanwhile, on March 9, it emerged that Belarusians created a separate battalion named after Kastus Kalinouski to defend Kyiv.

Volunteers are urged to join the ranks of Belarusians to defend Ukraine. They say that everyone will be able to do tasks according to their abilities.
