Kalesnikava's detention extended until 8 May

Member of the Presidium of the Coordinating Council Maryia Kalesnikava will stay behind bars for at least two more months. According to the telegram headquarters of Viktar Babaryka, her sentence has been extended until May 8.

The previous prison term expired on March 8, but Maryia Kalesnikava was not released. And yesterday it was reported that she will stay in custody. A member of the CC Presidium, she is accused of appeals to seize power (Part 3 Article 361 of the Criminal Code), conspiracy to seize power through unconstitutional means (Part 1 Article 357), as well as the establishment and leadership of an extremist formation (Part 1 Article 361-1).

Kalesnikava was detained on 7 September. On the 9th she was found in the pre-detention center in Valadarski street.

Later it was reported that the detention was extended for another member of the CC – Maksim Znak. He will stay behind bars at least until 9 May.
