Migrants attack Polish guards on two sections of border with Belarus

On December 8, migrants made about 80 attempts to break through the Belarusian-Polish border from the territory of Belarus, Poland’s Border Guard Service reports on Twitter.

In response, Polish border guards ordered 23 people to immediately leave Poland.

At the same time, large groups of migrants tried to force the border at the points in Dubicze Cerkiewne and Czeremcha. The video of the incident in Dubicze was published by the Polish Ministry of Defence.

“Migrants continue to behave aggressively and attack our soldiers and officers,” the ministry stressed.

According to previous reports, Belarusian military repeatedly tried to dazzle Polish border guards with laser beams and bright lights; the Polish side states the Belarusians destroy the border fence at night from time to time, trying to help irregular migrants enter the territory of Poland.

It should be recalled that OSAM, the special force of the Belarusian border troops, is included in the EU’s 5th sanctions package adopted on December 2 for their contribution to facilitating the migration crisis on the EU borders.
