The Ministry of Defense of Poland has posted a video with migrants attacking the fence on the Belarusian-Polish border.
The Ministry notes that Polish soldiers face such situations every day. “A group of migrants – young men – in the presence of at least one Belarusian today attacked our posts,” the agency reports.
Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak has noted on Twitter that “the situation at the border is becoming increasingly tense.”
Polish media also report that a Polish soldier was recently found dead on the border with Belarus. He was not directly guarding the Polish-Belarusian border. The tragedy happened while the soldier was resting. The cause of death is being investigated, reports wojsko-polskie.pl.
