The film produced by Belsat and directed by Andrey Kutsila “When Flowers Are Not Silent” will be screened at the prestigious international film festival.
The 37th Warsaw Film Festival has opened in Warsaw on October 8. The Belsat’s film “When Flowers Are Not Silent” by director Andrey Kutsila will be shown at such a prestigious film festival for the first time.
In the film, the director revisits the events of August 2020, when resistance to rigging and violence grew in Belarus. The documentary focuses on the lives of Belarusian families who, despite the trauma they have endured, are trying to move on and go about their business. Through their fate, we can see the pain and hope, feel the fear and determination of the people.
You can watch the film on October 9 at 16:00, on October 10 at 21:00 and on October 11 at 18:30 in Warsaw “Kinoteka” in the Palace of Culture and Science.
