Politician Tsikhanouskaya, Lviv mayor Sadovyi announce opening media hub for Belarus journos

Belarusian opposition politician Svyatlana Tsikhanouskaya and Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi have had a meeting and talks in the Polish town of Karpacz.

According to the top official, they agreed to open a media hub for independent Belarusian journalists in Lviv, Ukraine.

“Lviv is a city of free people. I am happy that today we have the opportunity to extend a helping hand to our Belarusian friends, who now need support and protection more than ever before. Long live Belarus! Glory to Ukraine!” Sadovyi said on Facebook.

The 30th Economic Forum started on September, 7 in Karpacz. On its first day, Svyatlana Tsikhanouskaya also met with Teresa Czerwińska, Vice President of the European Investment Bank. During the meeting, potential reform projects and investments in the economy of a democratic Belarus were discussed.
