The total number of sanctions imposed on the Russian Federation today is more than 5,500. It is ahead of Iran, Syria, and North Korea.

Next on the list are Venezuela (651 sanctions), Myanmar (510 sanctions), and Cuba (208 sanctions).
The largest number of sanctions against Russia were imposed by Switzerland and France – 512 sanctions, while the United States imposed 243 sanctions.
