Russia compiles list of 'unfriendly states'


On March 7, the Russian government approved the list of unfriendly countries, RBC wrote. It includes almost all European countries.

As for the European countries, the list includes 27 EU countries. Among them are Albania, Andorra, the UK (along with the island of Jersey, Anguilla, the British Virgin Islands, and Gibraltar), Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Northern Macedonia, Montenegro, Ukraine, and Switzerland.

Also on the list are Australia, Canada, Japan, Micronesia, New Zealand, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, and the United States.

No country from South and Central America, Africa, the Arab world, South and Southeast Asia is on the list. As to the European continent, only Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Vatican, Moldova, and Serbia are not on the list.

Earlier, Vladimir Putin instructed the authorities on such a list. According to him, Russian companies will be able to pay large debts in foreign currency to creditors from these countries in Russian rubles.
