Eighty Belarusians enter Poland on single day fleeing repression


On January 7, 80 citizens of Belarus entered Poland in search of asylum, the Polish Border Guard reported on Twitter.

According to the report, these Belarusians are “opposition or repressed.” They will be provided with assistance in Poland.

Border guards also reported that 36 migrants had tried to cross the Belarusian-Polish border illegally in the past 24 hours.
