On September 6, Belarusian security officers raided the apartment of former Tribuna correspondent Andrey Maslouski, the Belarusian Association of Journalists (BAJ) reports.

After the search, the journalist was taken to the Main Department for Combating Organised Crime and Corruption (notorious GUBOPiK/GUBAZiK), but he was not released after being interrogated. His status is still unknown.

Andrey Maslouski had been working for Tribuna for over ten years; in July 2021, he left the job by mutual consent of the parties and joined the Sportarena.by team.

According to BAJ, Maksim Berazinski, who heads the popular sports news website tribuna.com and is currently staying abroad, had his Minsk apartment searched on September, 1. Access to the website was blocked in Belarus in 2020. The project’s founder Dzmitry Navosha publicly supported the post-election protests in the country.
