Pro-Lukashenka media union may be expelled from International Federation of Journalists

The Committee of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) is set to revoke the membership of the state-controlled Belarusian Union of Journalists (BUJ)..

Journalists deserve the fullest support in these critical times. Free jailed journalists!” the IFJ said on Twitter.

IFJ is the world’s largest organisation of media professionals. There, Belarus is represented by the pro-government BUJ headed by propagandist and Alyaksandr Lukashenka‘s adherer Andrey Kryvasheyeu.
