Political prisoner Mikalai Dzyadok has been placed on preventive treatment in Minsk detention center #1 on Valadarski street, writes his Telegram-channel.

This decision was taken by a special commission headed by the head of the detention center Tsedryk A.M. The formal reason was the “propensity” of Mikalai Dzyadok to violence against employees of the administration and hostage-taking, as well as extremism and other destructive actions.

Now the anarchist is handcuffed when leaving his cell, as well as during morning and evening checks.

The journalist and anarchist activist Mikalai Dzyadok was detained on November 12th in the town of Sasnovy, Asipovichy district. The same day the Interior Ministry said that “employees of the Main Department for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption detained 32-year-old Minsk resident Mikalai Dzyadok, who for several years administered a radical telegram channel “Mikola,” where he publicly called for participation in mass unrest and violent actions of direct “action”.

In the video published by the press service of the agency, Mikalai Dzyadok looked badly beaten. He is accused of organizing actions that grossly violate public order (Article 342 of the Criminal Code). The activist does not plead guilty.

The complaint of the activist’s father about torture during detention was not satisfied by the law enforcement agencies. The Investigative Committee refused to conduct an investigation.
