Sentences on administrative cases of Symbal.by employees Mikita Brouka and Kseniya Miklasheuskaya have been announced. They received 20 days of arrest each, the store’s director Pavel Belavus writes.
Kseniya Miklasheuskaya and Mikita Brouka were tried under three articles at once – 17.1 (petty hooliganism), 23.4 (disobedience to a lawful request of an official) and 23.34 (violation of the order of organizing or holding mass events). The main thing they were accused of was a picket, which they organized by putting products with symbols on the store counter, Pavel Belavus notes.
Today the trial of the store staff will continue.
On January 30, FID officers searched the Symbal.by store. They later detained Brouka and Miklasheuskaya, as well as Volha Ihnatava and Anastasiya Trafimchyk. Everyone was first charged with petty hooliganism – new ones were added so as not to release them after 72 hours of imprisonment.
