The world-famous company Rolls Royce Group, which is the main engine supplier for BelAZ, will cease all operations with the Belarusian enterprise through its German subsidiary MTU Friedrichshafen GmbH. The reason for this step is the EU sanctions, representatives of the union of Belarusians in the UK told Belsat.
Earlier, the Professional Union of Belarusians in Britain (PUBB) had filed a complaint to the company. The union noted that the Belarusian authorities were violating human rights, while violations were also recorded at the Belarusian plant. The company responded to the appeal.
Thus, following the recent EU sanctions imposed on BelAZ, Rolls-Royce has ceased all transactions with BelAZ and any customers owned or partly owned by BelAZ as of 22 June 2021.
