Lukashenka's son no longer National Security aid


On March 1, Alyaksandr Lukashenka signed decrees on the assignment of special and military ranks. Among others, his eldest son Viktar Lukashenka was promoted to the rank of major-general in the reserve.

Among others, Uladzimir Kupryianiuk, Raman Padlyneu, Mikalai Karpenkau, Dzmitri Shakhrayeu, and Andrei Pauliuchenka received new military rank. They became major-generals. The next special rank of major-general of police was given to police colonel Henadz Kazakevich.

The security forces, which Lukashenka marked, were directly involved in violence against civilians during the protests.
