Lukashenka claims he may ask Putin to return nuclear weapons to Belarus


During an interview with Dmitry Kiselev, Alyaksandr Lukashenka answered a question about the deployment of nuclear weapons in Poland. He said that he would ask Putin to return nuclear weapons to Belarus, BelTA informs.

During the interview, Dmitri Kiselev, director-general of the international news agency “Russia Today,” asked Lukashenka about the NATO nuclear weapons appearing in Poland.

“Then I will suggest that Putin return nuclear weapons to Belarus,” Lukashenka said.

Lukashenka also added that Belarus is ready to deploy nuclear weapons here. According to him, even the infrastructure from Soviet times has been preserved for this purpose.
