Keeping pace with Dad: Kolya Lukashenka’s foreign trips (ENG video)

On August 31, Kolya Lukashenka turned 14. The Belarusian leader is notorious for taking his beloved son to domestic and foreign official meetings and events.

For example, when the head of Belarus took part in June’s summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) in Quingdao. Kolya gained a seat in the ‘presidential’ row for the heads of states. Moreover, he happened to be the youngest attender at the UN General Assembly.

Alyaksandr Lukashenka does not seem to back away from the tradition of taking his youngest son to international diplomatic trips – Kolya got used to accompanying his father even during school period. In 2014-2015 academic year he missed 14 days of school due to foreign voyages. What countries has he visited over the past year?
