‘Work Is Cool’: Lukashenka’s Komsomol ready to help (photos)


An opening ceremony of another working semester of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union (BRSM) took place in the State Flags Square in Minsk on May, 5.

The organization is an immediate successor of the Soviet Komsomol in Belarus.

About 800 young activists got their referrals on Friday. This year student workers’ brigades will be of help in the renovation of Dinamo Stadium in downtown Minsk. The motto of the event was #Trudkrut, i.e. Work Is Cool.

Earlier, youth brigades received more serious tasks such working at the construction site of the nuclear power plant in Astravets.
