The participants took to the streets to express their outrage at Alyksandr Lukashenka’s decree that obliges citizens to pay the equivalent of $250 if they work less than half the year and do not register with state labor exchanges.
The most sizable action took place in Homel where 3,000 – 4,000 persons gathered. In Mahiliou, about 300 people showed up.
