Next week Nadiya Savchenko may arrive in Minsk, Valery Dzhigun, Charge d’Affaires of Ukraine in the Republic of Belarus, said on Thursday.
She is expected to participate in the talks of the Trilateral contact group on the settlement of the conflict in Donbas, Valery Dzhigun said on May 26 at the Embassy of Ukraine during a party devoted to the Day of Slavic Writing and Culture. The evening was attended by Belarusian and Ukrainian intellectuals, writers and artists.
The Ukrainian Charge d’Affaires thanked Belarusians for their help ‘by word and deed’ during the hard times and for Belarus’ support in the process of liberating Nadiya Savchenko.
During her first press conference Nadiya Savchenko said that she is ready to become President of Ukraine.
