Раней ён распавядаў дзяржаўным медыям, што ў беларускім войску ўсё спакойна.

У Менскім гарадскім судзе 15 лютага пачнецца працэс над намеснікам камандзіра 310-й групы артылерыі па ідэалагічнай працы 120-й асобнай гвардзейскай механізаванай брыгады гвардыі падпалкоўнікам Антонам Чарамных, паведамляе Праваабарончы цэнтр «Вясна».

Афіцэра абвінавачваюць у «здрадзе дзяржаве асобай, на якую распаўсюджваецца статус ваеннаслужачага» (ч. 2 арт. 356 КК РБ) і «распальванні іншай сацыяльнай варожасці» (ч. 3 арт. 130 КК). Па гэтых артыкулах мужчыне пагражае ад 10 да 20 гадоў зняволення.

Антон Чарамных утрымліваецца пад вартай у СІЗА-1 у Менску з пачатку лютага 2023 года. Пра гэта, а таксама пра артыкул абвінавачвання, «Вясне» распавёў былы вязень. Абставіны справы невядомыя.
У сакавіку 2022 года Антон Чарамных распавядаў дзяржаўным медыям, што, «нягледзячы на ваенна-палітычную абстаноўку ў суседняй дзяржаве, а таксама фэйкі, звязаныя з падзеямі ва Украіне, сітуацыя ў воінскім злучэнні спакойная».

КДБ: З пачатку года затрымана больш за 10 «завербаваных» сілавікоў і дзяржслужачых навіны
Пасля арышту Чарамных старшыня КДБ Іван Церцель распавядаў пра затрыманні больш як 10 прадстаўнікоў сілавых структураў і дзяржаўнага апарату, якіх вінавацяць у стасунках з замежнымі спецслужбамі.
«Зеркало» пагутарыла пра Антона з ягонымі саслужыўцамі. Па іх словах, у 2020 годзе афіцэр падпісваўся за альтэрнатыўнага кандыдата на прэзідэнцкіх выбарах, Пасля задушэння пратэстаў увогуле збіраўся сысці з арміі, але чакаў, пакуль скончыцца кантракт, бо інакш яму б давялося выплочваць вялікую суму грошай.
Пасля ўварвання Расеі ва Украіну ў 2022 годзе Антон не хаваў сваёй пазіцыі адносна вайны. Тады яго перавялі з Менску ў Бароўку ў Лепельскім раёне, дзе дыслакуецца 231-я артылерыйская брыгада.
Саслужывец Антона таксама падкрэслівае, што ўпэўнены, што затрыманы не супрацоўнічаў з замежнай выведкай.
Яшчэ адзін знаёмы афіцэра распавёў, што хадзілі чуткі, што ён падтрымліваў пратэсны рух, а таксама прасіў даваць яму інфармацыю пра салдатаў, якія збіраюцца прымаць прысягу на беларускай мове.
