Жыццё чалавека – найвышэйшая каштоўнасць, і трэба зрабіць усё магчымае і немагчымае, папулярнае і непапулярнае, каб уратаваць як мага больш жыццяў.

Ад пераломных падзеяў у Беларусі мінула амаль чатыры гады. Шмат якія прадстаўнікі беларуская культурніцкай, інтэлектуальнай і палітычнай эліты ўвесь гэты час застаюцца за кратамі. Не бачаць родных, іх катуюць у ізаляцыі, яны губляюць здароўе. Дзеці растуць без бацькоў. Шмат хто з палітвязняў ужо ніколі не вернецца дадому. Мы ўсе чулі жахлівыя аповеды асобаў, якія выходзяць з турмы. Не ўсе з іх хочуць апавядаць публічна свае гісторыі, вяртацца да жудасных успамінаў, перажываць гэта яшчэ раз.

Сёння ўжо нельга проста «нагадваць пра палітвязняў», трэба рабіць канкрэтныя крокі, папулярныя ці непапулярныя, але якія ўратуюць чалавечае жыццё.
У сітуацыі, калі палітыкам дэмакратычных сілаў «не выпадае» рабіць і казаць пэўных рэчаў, бо яны натуральна баяцца «рэпутацыйных стратаў», абвінавачванняў у «здрадзе» і «легітымізацыі рэжыму», паўстае вострая патрэба ў трэцяй сіле, якая не стаіць на баку адной з барыкадаў. Толькі так можна будзе паспрабаваць вызваліць людзей, выйсці з тупіковай сітуацыі.
Таму з вялікаю надзеяй гляджу на нядаўняю сустрэчу прэзідэнта Польшчы Анджэя Дуды з Анджэлікаю Борыс, якая апавяла яму пра сваю сустрэчу ў Наваполацкай калоніі з Анджэем Пачобутам.

Тое, што Аляксандр Лукашэнка пагадзіўся на такую сустрэчу, азначае адно: яму не напляваць на стасункі з Польшчаю (чытай з Захадам). Гледзячы на тое, што ідзе вайна, і Беларусь ёсць часткаю расейскай ваеннай стратэгіі, дыктатар дасылае моцны сігнал з Менску. Відавочна, прыйшоў час, і ён гатовы размаўляць.
Не хачу спекуляваць адносна таго, што рэжым можа атрымаць узамен. Ёсць тысячы розных варыянтаў. Перакананы аднак, што польскія ўлады зробяць усё магчымае для вызвалення Пачобута, якое прынесла б святло надзеі іншым палітвязням.
Гэта працэс, які адназначна трэба распачынаць, прыйшоў час шукаць дарогі да вызвалення закладнікаў. У інтарэсе дэмакратычнай супольнасці – падтрымаць гэты працэс, а галоўнае – устрымацца ад неабдуманых каментароў, спекуляцыяў ці абвінавачванняў у той ці іншы бок. Бо гаворка – пра жыццё людзей.

Ніколі не будзе дэмакратычнай Беларусі, калі на першым плане не будзе стаяць чалавек, ягоныя жыццё і свабода. А ўжо пасля, у наступным шэрагу, стаяць «дзяржаўныя інтарэсы» і «палітычная мэтазгоднасць». У дыктатурах усё наадварот, там на першым месцы – дзяржава, а чалавек – гарматнае мяса. Менавіта таму ЗША і Швейцарыя выцягнулі сваіх грамадзянаў з лукашэнкаўскай турмы.
Геапалітычная сітуацыя для будучыні палітвязняў мае прамое значэнне. А што, калі заўтра ці паслязаўтра Расея распачне чарговы наступ на Украіну і зноў уварвецца праз тэрыторыю Беларусі? А што, калі Пуціну ўдасца ўцягнуць Беларусь у гэту крывавую вайну? Ці ў такой сітуацыі нейкія размовы пра вызваленне палітвязняў будуць магчымыя? Не. Больш за тое, расейская вайсковая акупацыя Беларусі (у выніку вайны было б цалкам магчыма) пагражала б іхным жыццям. Часта людзі сцвярджаюць, што час – гэта грошы. У Беларусі час – гэта жыццё. Нельга яго губляць.
