І згадаў святароў, якія асудзілі ўладу ў 2020 годзе.

Аляксандр Лукашэнка правёў сустрэчу з кіраўніцтвам Беларускай праваслаўнай царквы. У прамове, якая гучала як рыхтаванне да выбараў, ён заявіў, што святары не могуць займацца палітыкай, але даў указанні царкве. Таксама Лукашэнка схадзіў у храм Сабору ўсіх Беларускіх святых з кіраўніком БПЦ мітрапалітам Веньямінам.

Спачатку Аляксандр Лукашэнка заявіў, што ў Беларусі «закладзеныя трывалыя асновы ўзаемадзеяння Беларускай праваслаўнай царквы і нашых уладаў, дзяржавы ў цэлым». А потым загаварыў пра значэнне царквы ў«сучасных геапалітычных умовах і напярэдадні важных палітычных падзеяў унутры краіны».
Паводле Лукашэнкі, царква не можа ўмешвацца ў палітыку, але мусіць быць зручнай для ўлады. Гаворачы пра важныя палітычныя падзеі, ён успомніў, як некаторыя праваслаўныя святары асудзілі рэжым за жорсткасць і несправядлівасць да беларусаў.

«Мы памятаем, як у 2020 годзе некаторыя святары (на жаль, і некаторыя праваслаўныя) заняліся, мякка кажучы, палітыкай. Скажу, што для гэтага ў дзяржаве ёсць спецыяльныя інстытуты і падрыхтаваныя людзі. Праца царквы – задаваць маральныя хрысціянскія арыенціры», – сказаў Лукашэнка.


Ён даручыў Сіноду БПЦ сканцэнтравацца на тым, «ці ўсё робіцца для таго, каб чужыя людзі з нядобрымі думкамі не ўвайшлі ў беларускія храмы, не сталі мяняць асноваў, дыктаваць, як жыць».
Лукашэнка таксама акрэсліў месца БПЦ, зазначыў, што ў дзяржаве яна мае не галоўную, але «асаблівую» ролю. Ён падкрэсліў, што дзяржава будзе рэгуляваць паводзіны царквы.

«Хацеў бы пачуць, чаго не стае царкве і што яшчэ трэба зрабіць дзяржаве, дзе мы, магчыма, занядбалі сітуацыю. Па-гаспадарску падысці да тых пытанняў, якія сёння трэба ўладкаваць. Якую практычную частку працы ў лячэнні хваробаў нашага грамадства вы гатовыя ўзяць на сябе? Ці гатовая сама царква мяняцца, не здраджваючы пры гэтым духоўным ідэалам і каштоўнасцям?», – сказаў Лукашэнка.


Улады Беларусі ўзяліся за «выхаванне» царквы пасля выбараў 2020 года. Тады сілавікі, суддзі і чыноўнікі не пасаромеліся ліквідаваць аб’яднанні вернікаў і рэпрэсаваць іх разам са святарамі. Таксама больш як год у Менску зачынены Чырвоны касцёл, у якім падчас пратэстаў людзі хаваліся ад АМАПу.
