– Як часта вы пра гэта думаеце?
– Кожны дзень. Некалькі разоў на дзень. «Он с именем этим ложится, он с именем этим встаёт».
Думка пра смерць – бадай што самая папулярная думка ў маёй галаве. Тэлевядоўца Кацярына Ваданосава, каб пазбавіцца змрочных думак, занураецца ў працу.

«А бывае так, што я станаўлюся перад люстэркам, разумею, што за апошні год страціла вельмі шмат, чыста ў знешнім нават плане. Стану, паплачу сама сабе, паспрабую ўлезці ва ўлюблёную спадніцу, у мяне гэта не атрымаецца – я яшчэ раз паплачу. А потым прыходзіць разуменне, што калі ў мяне яшчэ ёсць на што апранаць спадніцу, значыць, не так усё і кепска. Кацярына дзеліцца, што прасцей было страціць грудзь, чымся валасы. Праз гармоны жанчыну ўвялі ў штучную менапаўзу.
– Вы лічыце сябе ўпэўненым у сабе чалавекам?
– Не. Я бравірую.
– У чым праяўляецца вашая няўпэўненасць?
– Я баюся людзей. Я насамрэч інтраверт. Я баюся тэлефанаваць.

– Вы расстройваецеся, калі чуеце хэйт у свой адрас?
– Так.
Але Кацярына сустракалася з хэйтам не толькі ў сацыяльных медыях: аднойчы яе ледзь не пабілі праз беларускую мову, бо па-беларуску размаўляла не толькі на тэлебачанні, але і па-за працаю:

«Аднойчы мяне на Ангарскай ледзьве не пабілі за беларускую мову. Таму гэта абсалютна не дзіўная сітуацыя, што я была адзіная беларускамоўная вядоўца на ўсім беларускім тэлебачанні».
Праца на дзяржаўным тэлебачанні Кацярыне падабалася, бо «сышлося ўсё»: любоў да гісторыі, да традыцыйнай культуры, да матэрыяльнай, нематэрыяльнай культуры. Прага паказаць, што беларуская духоўная спадчына разнастайная, багатая, цудоўная і непаўторная.
Праз тое, што Кацярына Ваданосава – гісторык, яна ў сваім жыцці перасякалася і з гісторыкам Марзалюком на археалагічных раскопках, і з адыёзным прапагандыстам Дзермантам. З апошнім нават на піве ў месцы, дзе абвяшчалі Беларускую Народную Рэспубліку:
