Belarusians would not stop

The March of Brave People has kicked off at 12.00 (local time) in Minsk.

On Tuesday, the police detained Belsat TV contributors Halina Abakunchyk, Antos Syalitski, Katsyaryna Andreyeva, Ihar Ilyash, Maksim Harchanok, Nasta Reznikava, as well as freelance journalist Tatsyana Kapitonava, Alena Talkachova (TUT.BY), Natallya Fedosenka (TASS).

Belsat summed up the results of the registration of presidential candidates live and covered spontaneous rallies.

The recent protest rallies were ‘well-orchestrated’, Interior Minister Yury Karayeu said when addressing Belarusian deputies on Thursday.

Five Belarusian opposition parties have agreed to nominate a single candidate for the 2020 presidential elections.

On January 27, the solemn event was held on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland; about 200 surviving prisoners took part in it. The venue was the territory of the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum.
