Base value to increase on January 1. What will change?

Starting from 2017, it will be 23 rubles. The current base value is 21 rubles.

This decision was passed by the Council of Ministers of Belarus.

The last increase in the basic amount was at the beginning of this year – on January 1, 2016 it increased from 180 thousand to 210 thousand pre-evaluation rubles.

The base value was introduced on March 1, 2002. In Belarus, it is used to calculate a number of indicators, it is linked to the amount of social payments, allowances and scholarships, as well as fines.

What will change?

Fines will increase. Fare dodging will cost you 11.5 instead of 10.5 rubles.

Assistance to the unemployed will increase. The maximum aid will be 46 rubles (currently 42 rubles).

Divorces will become more expensive — the cost will grow from 84 to 92 roubles, it will become more expensive to get married (2-4 rubles).

Price for notary and real estate services will also increase.

A number of taxes — fee for crafts, farm tourism, dog tax– will also grow. The same is true about the tax on social parasitism — 460 rubles instead of the current 420 rubles.

The very first base amount was 10 thousand rubles. Over the last 14 years, the base value has increased 18 times.
