Economic cooperation issues: Poland’s Vice Minister to visit Belarus soon


Mateusz Morawiecki, Poland’s Vice Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Finances, will arrive in Belarus on October 24, Dzmitry Mironchyk, spokesman for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said on Thursday.

The Polish Vice Premier is to participate in the opening of the 20th Belarusian-Polish economic forum Good Neighborliness, Mironchyk said. He will also be at the head of the Polish delegation at the 4th meeting of the joint commission on economic cooperation.

Mateusz Morawiecki is also expected to hold meetings with Belarusian officials.

As reported earlier, during October’s working visit to Poland, Belarus’ Foreign Minister Uladzimir Makey met with President Andrzej Duda and his Polish counterpart Witold Waszczykowski.
