“Belsat” interviewed employees of Minsk enterprises about accidents in the workplace.
One of the women said:
“I think, first of all, it is the people who are to blame. They do not value their life at all, they value it as a penny or less”.
Another worker called said:
“One of the reasons for accidents at work is the old equipment. Of course, occupational safety also matters, but it is not observed, I know a lot of cases, when the bosses wings push workers for faster production. Person becomes less attentive, makes a mistake, and they do not have to be drunk at the time”.
The next interviewee said:
“Even if the worker is responsible, nased on the law it is still the managers who is responsible”.
A few days ago a worker died at “Belaruskali”. According to the official, he “died from injury caused by piece of rock”.
