In the run-up of wargame: Checkpoint in Zhodzina (video)

The Belarusian town of Zhodzina (Minsk region) is getting ready for a military exercise, in the course of which the protection of various facilities in the town and Smalyavichy district will be drilled.

Reservists are being called out; the police, retired officers and warrant officers are also expected to take part in the exercise.

A checkpoint in Lahoyskaya street was built ahead of the wargame, ex-press.by reports.

During the reserve training, draftees will take a military oath. They will be trained and participate in shooting drills and ‘protecting’ a facility in the territory of Smalyavichy district.

The M1 highway, the main transit road in Belarus, is running through Smalyavichy district. It is part of European route E30 and the Pan-European Transport Corridor II Berlin-Nizhniy Novgorod.
