The Belarusian athlete will be playing in the 1/8 of tennis tournament in Brisbane.
On January 4th, the Belarusian tennis player Victoria Azarenka (22 in the world ranking) beat Elena Vesnina of Russia (115th) – 6: 2, 6:0 in the first round of the tournament in the Australian city of Brisbane.
The prize fund is 850K US dollars.
In the next round the Belarusian athlete will play against the current number two in the world rankings, a Romanian Simona Halep.
