Tha match lasted 96 minutes. Victoria Azarenka never lost serve and committed 14 unforced errors in 119 points, while the Brit double-faulted three times on break point.
Azarenka’s rival for the semi-finals will be determined in the match of Madison Keys (22) and Angelique Kerber (2).
