Only 2% of Ukrainians evaluate their attitude to Belarus as ‘very cold’.

The poll was conducted in all regions of Ukraine (with the exception of Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts) from July 16-30, 2015 through face-toface interview at respondents’ homes. The national survey had a randomly selected sample of 1,200 permanent residents of Ukraine aged 18 and older and eligible to vote.

The interviewees were asked about social and political life in the country and their vision of the future. In addition, Ukrainian citizens told about their attitude to a number of other states.

The majority of Ukrainians (55%) perceive Belarus friendly. 12% of respondents declared their ‘very warm’ attitude towards our country, 43% – ‘warm’, 38% – ‘neutral’, 2% – ‘very cold’, 4% did not answer the question.
