Vitaly Tsilizhenka was killed during a tank attack launched by pro-Russian militants at Volnovakha. The fighter defended EuroMaidan in Kyiv, then became a volunteer in the ATO zone and helped in organizing the tactical group “Belarus”.

36-year-old Vitaly died when his battalion was racing to the rescue to the military who found themselves under fire of Russian-backed separatists.
In his native Zaporizhia, a tent was pitched up where Vitaly’s associates and friends could come to say their last goodbye to him.
On the same day when Tsilizhenka was killed, one of the Belarusian volunteer fighters was severely injured. Over a hundred of Belarusian citizens are fighting against separatists in Donbas.
