Ukraine MP: Belarus peacekeepers may be Putin’s Trojan horse in Donbas

Belarusian peacekeepers may become Vladimir Putin’s Trojan horse in Donbas, Ihor Mosiychuk, a Ukrainian deputy and representative of the Radical Party, believes.

A day earlier, Foreign Minister Uladzimir Makey stated on that Belarus was ready to send a peacekeeping contingent to Ukraine to deescalate the conflict in Donbas.

“One might only welcome such steps, but there is a slight problem. Russia’s FSB kidnapped the Ukrainian citizen Pavlo Gryb from the territory of Belarus after the Belarusian-Russian war game that threatened Ukraine; Belarus voted against adopting the resolution Crimea. I doubt that there will be Belarusian peacekeepers. What’s more, they might be Putin’s Trojan horse, Russian invaders will come under the guise of Belarusian peacekeepers. Alexander Turchinov reported that military equipment were being done into the colours of peacekeepers. We will get a Trojan horse,” he told Tv station 112 Ukraine.

The above actions of Belarusian authorities make people think that Belarus has become a satellite of the aggressor, Mosiychuk warned.
