Our channel had great achievements in 2016 and has big plans for 2017.

2016 was a regular year — Belarus held parliamentary elections, which did not change anything on the political scene, but nevertheless became sensational: the House of Representatives now has two independent female candidates – Hanna Kanapatskaya from the UCP and Alena Anisim from the BLS.

2016 was a pro-European year — Belarus has not communicated so warmly with the West since 2010.

2016 was tragic — Pavel Sheremet died, as well as Hanna Volskaya, language service manager of our TV channel Zmitser Sauka, and poet Nil Hilevich.

[/vc_column_text][vc_video link=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_xjfwUU8sA”][vc_column_text]”Belsat” is a truly international channel, as it is watched in several countries.

For example, according to the journalist Yaraslau Stseshyk, “Belsat” is also popular in Ukraine, since it does not depend either on the internal political situation, nor on Russia.

See the video for more information about our achievements and plans. English subtitles are available.

Belsat has a lot of plans for 2017.
