Three Belarusians injured in Brussels attacks - MFA


Three citizens of Belarus were injured in the terrorist attacks that took place in Brussels on Tuesday, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

“After identifying the injured persons, the Belgian side has said today that three citizens of Belarus were admitted to hospital,” the Foreign Ministry wrote on Twitter.

A consular officer of the Embass has visited the hospital today; the Ministry is establishing a contact with relatives of the injured, the press office adds.

The attacks in Zaventem Airport and Maelbeek metro station happened on March, 22. Daesh has claimed the responsibility for them. According to recent reports, 31 people were killed, about 260 were injured. The citizens of about 40 countries were touched by the explosions. At first the anti-crisis center of the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that there were no Belarusians on the lists of the victims.
