Waste recycling plant to open near Minsk


On Monday, Director of Minsk City Construction Office (Gordorstroy) Mikhail Hlushakou said the plant for sorting and recycling of waste will be put into operation in the first half of 2017 near Minsk.

Construction of the plant started in April 2016, nearly 12 million BYN have been spent on the project.

“The plant’s projected annual capacity is 100 thousand tons of sorting mixed waste per year,” “Minsk-News” quoted Hlushakou.

This year “Gordorstroy” has been working at 20 road construction facilities. The total funding has amounted to 117,6 mln Belarusian rubles before denomination.
