Special working group to stimulate business activity headed by Lukashenka

The special working group will be engaged in, among other things, eliminating redundant requirements for business entities, improving control and surveillance activities.

Reporters learned it from the co-chairman of the Republican Confederation of Entrepreneurship Viktar Marhelau. According to the businessman, the group was set up by the Head of State on 13 January.

“President appointed himself head of the group, it includes the head of the Presidential Administration, representatives of ministries, the State Control Committee and 7-8 representatives of business entities, including me,” said Marhelau.

The first meeting of the working group, according to Marhelau, will take place on 27 January.

He also noted that on January 20th, the Advisory Coordinating Council developed proposals that will be discussed by the working group, noting the need to take bold decisions.

Within the framework of the working group there will be made proposals for SME Development Strategy up to 2030.

The ordinance establishing a working group has not yet officially published.
