'Stop splitting up into Right and Left, Russian- and Belarusian-speaking' - Karatkevich


Tatsiana Karatkevich’s electoral programme is based on the issues raised by the initiative ‘People’s Referendum’. It was initiated by the same-name coalition that unites the civil campaign ‘Tell the Truth!’, the Belarusian People’s Front, the Belarusian Social Democratic Party (Hramada) and the movement ‘For Freedom’, naviny.by reports.

The main goal of ​​this campaign is to introduce six key issues concerning further development of the Belarusian state and society for public debates.

“The President should chanellize their work primarily into the creation of conditions to improve the living standards of the citizens of Belarus, which can be done only by development efficient economy. Positive changes are not possible without comprehensive political and economic overhaul,” the programme reads.

“The old government has plunged the country into risis. To overcome it, we must unite,” Karatkevich said at a press conference. In her opinion, the easiest way out of the crisis is reforms.

Tatsiana Karatkevich urged everyone to join her campaign.

“Stop splitting up into into the Right and the Left, into Russian- and Belarusian-speaking groups,” she said.
