Staff turnover amidst foreign currency crisis: Lukashenka removes PM, National Bank Head


Belarus President Aliaksandr Lukashenka made several personnel decisions on December, 27.

Nadzeya Yermakova, Head of the National Bank of Belarus, and Mikhail Miasnikovich, Prime Minister, were dismissed from their positions. Aliaksandr Lukashenka appointed:

Andrey Kabyakou — Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus;

Aliaksandr Kosinets — Head of the Belarus President Administration;

Pavel Kalavur — Chairman of the Board of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus;

Vasil Matsyusheuski — First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus;

Uladzimir Siamashka — Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus;

Natallia Kachanava — Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus;

Mikhail Zhuravkou — Education Minister;

Siarhei Nalivaika — Tax and Duties Minister;

Vital Vovk — Industry Minister;

Uladzimir Zinovsky — Economy Minister;

Andrey Gayeu — Chairman of the State Property Committee;

Mikalai Snapkou — Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration;

Ihar Buzovsky — Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration
