Serbian President arrived in Minsk by regular flight

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic arrived in Minsk for talks with Alyaksandr Lukashenka on the evening of May 17.

Today, there is a meeting of the two presidents in the Palace of Independence. According to BELTA, Lukashenka is to reward Nikolic with Order of Friendship for his significant contribution to the strengthening of peace, friendship and cooperation between Belarus and Serbia.

As kp.by notes, the Serbian President arrived in Minsk by the regular Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt to Minsk. Moreover, the flight was delayed — Nikolic arrived in Belarus with a delay of almost 50 minutes. The Serbian president was greeted by the armored “Mercedes”, accompanied by SUVs of Lukashenka’s security service.

It is Nikolic’s third visit to Belarus. In 2013, he came on a small government plane Dassault Falcon 50, which is designed for 8 passengers. In 2015, the Serbian President also flew in by a regular Lufthansa flight.
