Russian political analyst denied entry to EU

Russian political analyst Oleg Bondarenko was denied entry to the European Union at Poland’s request.

“I have been banned from entering countries of the European Union at Poland’s request and without explaining why. The ban is in effect for three years,” he told news agency TASS.

On January 14, Bondarenko arrived at Berlin’s Tegel airport. He was invited to the country by Germany’s Left Party. He states he has no idea why Poland blacklisted him.

Oleg Bondarenko, Director of the Progressive Policy Fund, also contributes to a number of Russian media.

Interestingly, Bondarenko participated as an expert in the events organized in the territory of the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk republics. Moreover, being a guest at Russian TV shows, he stated that ‘the restoration of the sovereignty of Ukraine in Donbas is out of the question’.
