The Russian “Novaya Gazeta” has published videos of prisoners being beaten in the correctional facility No. 1 in the Yaroslavl region. The video was provided by the lawyers of the Public Verdict Foundation.
Presumably, the video was made in December 2016. Workers of the colony in the video line up in two rows, after which four prisoners are sent running through the formation: they are beaten with hands and truncheons.

The video shows guards who participated in the torture of prisoner Evgeni Makarov – this video was published in mid-July and had a big resonance in Russia. After that, a criminal case was opened against the workers of the Yaroslavl colony, 11 people were detained.
