Russian election campaigning in Belarus’ Brest


A large-scale campaign to encourage Russian citizens to vote in the upcoming presidential election is in progress in the Belarusian city of Brest.

The event, which is scheduled for March 18, is being widely advertised in many places. In addition, there are voice announcements in trolleys and information leaflets in blocks of flats. Commercials reminding of the presidential run in the neighbouring country are being shown on big screens at the very heart of the city – in Lenin Square and Masherov Avenue.

On March 18, Russian citizens who permanently or temporarily reside in the territory of the Republic of Belarus will be able to vote in thh Consulate General in Brest.
