The event has a large backing from the Russkiy Mir Foundation. It aims at ‘sharing educators’ experience, motivating students to learn Russian language and literature and preserving the cultural heritage of the Russian people’.

This year, twelve educators representing Russia, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and the so-called Donetsk Republic qualified for the final.

And the representative of the latter, Larisa Dyachenko from School No. 1 in Donetsk won the competition.
